A MOTHER-OF-TWO from Southport is at the centre of a national debate on whether women should have the right to breastfeed in public.
Lindsey Black, from Loxley Road, was asked to leave McDonald’s on Eastbank Street while breastfeeding her baby daughter Morgan.

SOUTHPORT District Scouts and Cubs are inviting former members to join them in a global celebration of 100 years of Scouting.
‘Scouting Sunrise’ will be a worldwide remembrance of the movement, exactly 100 years to the minute Robert Baden-Powell commenced the first ever camp.

Council must make plans to tackle litter

A TOWN centre councillor is calling for more street cleaners to tackle the predicted rise in litter ahead of the national ban on smoking in public places.
The ban which will stop people smoking in public places comes into effect in July and Cllr Sir Ron Watson has called on Sefton Council to take action against the expected rise in litter.
