Clubs Urged To Move It
Young people and sports clubs across South Sefton are being urged to 'Move It' and take advantage of an informative new website.
Sefton Council Leisure Services, in partnership with Sefton's Technical Services and Sefton Primary Care Trust (PCT), are encouraging people to use the website www.moveitsefton.co.uk which is aimed at raising awareness of the benefits of physical activity and opportunities available for youngsters aged 15-plus.
In addition, sports clubs are being encouraged to get involved to help increase participation levels, boost membership and market their club to people in the area through the website.
Paul Wilkinson, Sefton Sports Council Club Development Officer, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for all clubs across the borough to get involved.
"We are looking for all clubs who would like to increase their memberships, participation levels and general interest in their club, to be added as a club available to the 15-plus age group."
To get involved or for more information contact Terri Moore in Sefton Leisure Services on 0151-934 2945 or email Terri.Moore@leisure.sefton.gov.uk
