SWACA is a registered charity that provides free and confidential services to all women, children and young people who are survivors of domestic violence.
What is domestic violence?
Domestic violence can take many forms including physical, sexual, emotional/verbal, financial and/or social abuse. Children living with domestic violence can experience a range of emotions including fear, sadness, anger, anxiety, stress and isolation.
How SWACA can help…
SWACA can provide practical and emotional support for women, children and young people in a variety of ways including:
• Helpline
• One to One Support
• Group-work
• Counselling
• Welfare and Benefits Advice
• Refuge
• Domestic Violence Awareness Training
Do you or your staff need training?
SWACA can provide domestic violence and child protection training for statutory and voluntary agencies and community groups. There is an extensive list of training packages to suit all learning and budgetary needs. We are willing to come out to talk to groups about our services too.
Do you want to help us?
There are a number of opportunities if you wish to help or support us. These include charitable giving / gift aid, volunteering, fundraising and legacy giving.
