end of season brings play off in both divisions

The final matches of the season where played on friday night, and the results saw Crosby Cons B winning the Merit league in division one, Rileys were 2nd they need a 7-0 win to catch crosby cons B but conceeded asSteve Evans of the cons won the 4th game .
But in the Handicap league division one saw s.s.p.c winning at star sea and they with S & L Cons A both finished with 166 points so a play off is needed'
In DivisionTwo Star Sea A had 4-2 win over Comrades C and that gave them both 85 points and both had won 13 matches so a play off on the 30th April at S & L Cons club if 3-3 result then a 7th man from each team will play the deciding game.the division one high break was won by P.McCormick (Rileys) 94 in division two M.Goodall (Crosby Cons C) won their high break with 35 The Bill Scott competition saw Barry Meadows (Rileys A ) beating S.Evans Jnr in the first of the Semi Finals, the 2nd Semi Final Mark Bellas (crosby cons C ) V Paul Williams (Crosby Cons B) will be played 29th April at Crosby Conservative club Moor Lane. The final on the 6th May at Crosby Cons club moor lane
The Competition high break is held by Paul Latham of Cons B butas there are 2 competition matches yet to be played we will have to see if score will stay or be beaten.

april results in div 1 & 2 plus handicap league

we start this week with the update of division two as these teams have all but Rileys A 1 match left to play before the end of this season, Rileys have played their 24 matches and have won the handicap league on 106 points and can not be caught. in second place are c.m.s B with 99 points and third are c.m.s A on 98 points they are clear of Crosby cons A back on 94 so withg the 1 match left its a fight for second place.
In Division two merit league Crosby Cons C lost their chance to catch the leaders as they draw 3-3 in derby match with Crosby Cons A. positions are Comradres 83 points Star Sea A 81 points ( they play each other in the last match of the season) Crosby Cons C 78 points , these are clear of the rest of the teams in division two
In Division one several teams have back dated matches to play her are the positions ,first are games played then points , Crosby cons B 27 matches 144 points Rileys A 26 matches 131. St Peter & pauls 27 matches 108.Rileys B 26 matches 98 points . Crosby Cons E 27 matches 92 points (lost 1 match for not giving S & L Cons A for not field a team and not giving proper notice to opponents) S & L Cons 27 matches 91 . Star Sea 26 matches 40 points, S.S.P.C 39 points
In the handicap league, S.S.P.C have 161 points from 26 matches S & L Cons A 161 points from 27 matches,Rileys B 160 points from 26 matches, and thre others are to far adrift to catch these .The Final of thre pairs is tonight at Crosby Conservative club moor lane crosby at 7-30 A& S Pellow Crosby Cons E minus 3v M& A Bellis Crosby Cons A 7
