About us
The society meets at Southport and Birkdale Sports Club on Trafalgar Road the third Thursday of each month at 8.00pm during the winter. Commencing in October we go through until the Annual Dinner in April. Our speakers are usually well know people involved in cricket, players, ex-players,umpires, writers, commentators and groundsmen.
In 2007/8 we have had some super entertainment from such people as Tony Cottey (Glamorgan and Sussex CCC) Henry Olonga(Zimbabwe) and Mark Chilton(Lancashire CCC).
If you are a lover of cricket just pop along any time between October and March. If you wish to join us for our annual dinner in 2008, please telephone or come along to our meeting on the 20th of February, you will be most welcome.
