Make a Difference Day in Sefton

Posted by Sefton Volunteer Centre on October 9, 2007 3:46 PM |

CSV’s national Make a Difference Day is the UK's biggest day of volunteering. Last year was a huge success with 120,000 people throughout the UK taking part in community projects. This year, Sefton Millenium Volunteers and Volunteer Centre Sefton are calling on local residents to get involved with Make a Difference Day to help clean up the local environment. A fun and exciting day for people of all ages and walks of life is organised for October 27th to clean up the streets in South Sefton. Activities will include painting and gardening, so make sure you bring your old clothes. For more information on how you can join in with your local community on Make a Difference Day this year to make Sefton a cleaner, brighter place to live, contact Millennium Volunteers development worker, Marie Morgan at marie@seftonmv.org.uk or ph. 0151 920 0726 ext.203.
