About us
The Plaza Community Cinema is a Social Enterprise and a Registered Charity that shows mainstream films and generates income to fund education projects in schools and community projects across Sefton.
In addition a kidscreen is held most Saturday mornings in the year whilst it's ever popular social club, involving light refreshments, bingo and one of the latest movie releases is held on a Thursday afternoon.
Funding to support this unique Community facility comes from box office and kiosk sales, whilst the thriving Plaza Shop in St. John's Road Waterloo also makes a valuable contribution.
The 100 Club, income from the Movie club and donations from various sources complete the picture.
