Dr Mashood Siddiqi from Aintree Hospital was the speaker at the last meeting of the current season of our osteoporosis group.
An expert in the field of bone disease he provided many useful statistics about the decrease in bone density and which people might be more prone to it - not forgetting that men as well as women suffer from osteoporosis.
Members questioned him about the latest drugs and also how to get onto his list!
