About us
Formerly Presbyterian, St. George's United Reformed Church unites the Christian tradtions of Presbyterianism, Congregationalism and the Churches of Christ.
Set in beautiful Lord Street, its congregation comes from all over Southport attracted by the beauty of its building, its simple, dignified worship, Biblical and contemporary preaching and the friendship of its welcome.
It also has a number of activities mid-week and is especially known for serving teas and coffees on Wednesday afternoon and Saturday mornings.
Its setting is ideal for wedding services and for special services including those linked to conferences in the town.
It shares the services of its Minister with Birkdale United Reformed Church, Grosvenor Road.
Look for its distinctive spire next to Sainsbury's.
