About Us: Farnborough Road Junior School believes in working together to enable all the children in the school to reach their full potential.
Every member of our school community realises the importance of a high quality primary education and the curriculum at each school is broad, balanced and attractive to children of all needs. The school has a caring environment in which children learn to respect each other.
Our aim is to develop each child\'s abilities and interests to the highest level of personal achievement, and to work in partnership with parents in order to bring out the very best in each child. Every child who comes into the school is warmly welcomed and equally valued.
Parents and carers are a vital part of the school community and we encourage their involvement in the life of each school. A close relationship with families means that we can offer an environment that is caring, supportive and based on mutual respect and trust.
Farnborough Road Schools are successful and well-established in the local Community. We are two schools, Infant (including our Nursery) and Junior, housed in two separate buildings, each with its own Headteacher but sharing the same site. Great effort is made, however, by the schools and Governors to maintain continuity and close links with each other.
Most of our pupils are admitted into the nursery and infant school in September at the beginning of the new academic year and will transfer to the junior school again in September at the age of 7.
