About us
Established over 20 years ago, The Anglo-Polish Society ( Southport & District Branch ) was formed to promote and develop an increasing understanding and spirit of friendship between the established Polish and British communities in this area , which continues mainly through a regular 'Calendar of Events'...
These comprise a mix of social evenings, concerts and musical events, fund-raisers, exhibitions, cultural and traditional celebrations and an Annual Lunch that attracts distinguished Diplomatic, Political and Business guest speakers and figures from Poland and the UK.
More recently there has been an influx of new and mainly younger Poles coming to work and study in the area , who are becoming more involved in the social activities of the A.P.S., but our membership is open, by application, to all likeminded and interested members of the local and wider community...
